For ages birth to 18 months. Spend the afternoon with Linda Rose looking and learning about the owls of our area. Come in a front pack, backpack, stroller or just walk. Registration is required.
For youth ages 12 to 17 years and older. Join Linda Rose while we learn about snowflake differences and then create our own snowflake luminary. Registration is required.
Spend the morning looking and listening to the sights and sounds of nature in the preserve as you walk the trails with Linda Rose. Binoculars helpful. This walk qualifies for the Walking Stick Program and lasts about 1 ¼ hour. Registration is required.
For ages 18 to 36 months. Join Linda Rose as we read the book “The Snowy Day” and then walk the trails in search of snowy things. Registration is required.
Join Linda Rose as we walk under the light of the “Wolf Moon.” This walk will last about 1 to 1 ¼ hours and qualifies for the Walking Stick Program. Registration is required.
For ages 3 to 5 years. Join Linda Rose as you walk the trail enjoying what the winter season has brought us….snow, naked trees, winter birds and more. Registration is required.
For ages 5 to 12 years. Join Linda Rose as we explore the wetlands. Is anything awake or has it all gone to sleep for the season? Boots recommended. Registration is required.
