For ages 18 to 36 months. Join Linda Rose as we learn about wiggly and giggly things found along the trail. Will it be a worm, centipede or roly-poly? Come find out! Registration is required.
Join Linda Rose as we explore the trails to see the vast array of spring wild flowers that the preserve has to offer. This walk will last about 1 to 1 ¼ hours and qualifies for the Walking Stick Program. Registration is required.
Spend the morning looking and listening to the sights and sounds of nature in the preserve as you walk the trails with Linda Rose. Binoculars helpful. This walk qualifies for the Walking Stick Program and lasts about 1 ¼ hour. Registration is required.
For ages 5 to 12 years. Join Linda Rose as we explore mud kitchen making a variety of new recipes. Will it be dirt ball soup or twig pie? Dress to get a little dirty and join the creativity! Registration is required.
For ages birth to 18 months. Spend the afternoon with Linda Rose looking and learning about the woods—feel the leaves, squish the mud, roll over a log and so much more. Come in a front pack, backpack, stroller or just walk. Registration is required.
Spend the morning, canoeing/kayaking, hiking, journaling, fishing and learn open fire cooking. All ages of mother/daughter/grand-daughter welcome. Registration is required.
Join Linda Rose as we walk under the light of the “Flower Moon.” This walk will last about 1 to 1 ¼ hours and qualifies for the Walking Stick Program. Registration is required.
For ages 3 to 5 years. Join Linda Rose as you walk the trail looking for this hidden under logs or rocks creature. Learn all about this fellow through a puppet and story. Registration is required.
Join Linda Rose for an afternoon outdoors painting on a plate. Bring your own plate or use one of ours. All supplies provided. Bring your creativity for a fun-filled hour. Registration is required.
For youth ages 12 to 17 years and older. Join Linda Rose while we learn about our newest preserve and its ties to the Sandusky River. Wear old shoes or boots please. Registration is required.
